2 Chome-38-10 Kamiigusa, Suginami City, Tokyo 167-002301 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Some diners say Igusawanien’s granola is so satisfyingly chewy that its firmness comes as a surprise, yet the flavour keeps them coming back for more. There is a wide range to choose from, including seasonal varieties as well as the regular selection. Some customers have asked the owner for help choosing, or mentioned ingredients they cannot eat and been shown options that do not contain them. If you are unsure where to start, it may be worth asking.
Try the granola over yoghurt, where it joins the textures of fruit and nuts, or serve it with vanilla ice cream. The spicy-sweet ginger syrup has also earned praise; one diner enjoyed it mixed with tea.
Alongside the granola, the shop stocks secondhand books, from picture books to titles for adults, making it a pleasant place to browse between purchases. One customer who bought some as a gift said the 150g pack at 650 yen was easy to give as a present.
